He was a writer, a biologist, and a huge fan of the paranormal and inexplicable back in the ‘50s and ‘60s. The guy to ask would probably be Ivan T Sanderson. I’m not just talking about the one and one Bermuda Triangle – it’s got a whole Motley crew of at least 7 other Vile Vortices. Ships and planes simply vanish, radios and compasses just stop working, and some even say they’ve spotted UFOs there. Vile Vortices are territories on the world's surface which have normally happening peculiarities because of the planet's common electromagnetic fields being more grounded in these parts than anyplace else on the planet.It’s one of the most terrifyingly, fascinating places on our planet. Sanderson originally garnered notoriety by writing and lecturing on the animal kingdom. Any of a number of geographic areas, arranged in a pattern around the Earth, that are held to be the sites of unexplained disappearances and other mysterious phenomena. He was a frequent contributor to The Saturday Evening Post as well as a guest on The Gary Moore Show. Sanderson, the organizer of the Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained, was energetically keen on examining boat and plane vanishings connected to the paranormal. In the late 60's he concentrated on ten zones that were around equidistant and were the subjects of announced unexplained occurrences and additionally electro-attractive mutilations. Ten of Sanderson's Vile Vortices are situated in the world's tropical atmospheres five of them fall inside the Tropic of Cancer and the other five inside the Tropic of Capricorn.
